This is a passive electrode for a SHIELD-EKG-EMG shield which allows Arduino like boards to capture Electrocardiography Electromyography signals. The SHIELD-EKG-EMG-PASSIVE opens new possibilities to experiment with biofeedback. You can monitor your heartbeat and log your pulse, recognize gestures by monitoring and analyzing the muscle activity as done in this project.

The Olimex Shield-EKG-EMG-PA passive electrode pack has three electrodes suitable for use with the EKG/EMG shield (73-0274) labeled right arm, left arm and DRL. DRL stands for Driven Right Leg and it is used to improve common mode rejection.

This is the ultimate shield to link Arduino to your body, it can do Electrocardiography and Electromyography.
